Why every entrepreneur should make unrealistic goals?

There's that one thing about successful entrepreneurs: that never say die attitude. They are hard driving and love being the dominant player. They also set unrealistic goals, let alone being focused on their goal. People often come across entrepreneurs who talk of goals and strategies but they are often the ordinary goals. This is one thing that, on a personal note, I feel is a big letdown. The ones you hear talking about introduce things are the ones who impress the most. Setting unrealistic goals is the new cool.

In the field, you should be thinking wide and unrealistic. As opposed to the general perception, the unrealistic goals can take you miles. To create something out of the box, you need to think out of the blues. Unrealistic thinking is the main reason of innovation. It can make the company the talk of the town. Going the other way can work wonders for any company. There can be different goals depending on different companies. Setting goals can have multiple benefits to the companies.

The companies should understand their finances well and the position they are in. All entrepreneurs must understand atleast the most basic of their money matters and then think about stuff that is normally beyond the stuff that the industry can do.

By failing to set such goals, the entrepreneurs find themselves under the avalanche of ‘bad luck’ which they could have avoided had they planned out of the box. They tell the specific steps a businessman should take to succeed and become the leader in the industry. Innovation is the key. They also force the entrepreneurs to be on track. Such goals minimize the deviation and force the founders to keep the right perspective.

This is what goals do, they help the business owners achieve things they actually want to. When the men in charge understand their strength and weaknesses, that is the time when they start achieving goals. And then they understand that that is the time when they can set unrealistic goals. Along with setting such unrealistic goals, they must understand that reality is the place they should be in. By creating company-wide goals, a business owner can ensure the company can survive without their daily presence. A sustainable business can only survive when the owner knows that he cannot micromanage everything.

So now, this is the time when unrealistic goals are the key to success even for a budding entrepreneurs.
